Privacy Statement Glazen Uil B.V.

At Glazen Uil B.V. (Glass Owl), we stand for transparency and the protection of your privacy. This privacy statement explains how we handle your personal data and ensure its secure storage, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data do we collect?

Information about clients and interested parties, such as name, phone number, email address, and notes from our exchanges.

How do we obtain this data?

  • Directly from you: most of the data we process is provided by you. For example, when you call or email us, fill out the contact form, or attend a meeting with us.
  • Public sources: occasionally, we gather information from public sources, such as Chamber of Commerce (KvK) numbers and business addresses, to ensure we visit the correct location or to prepare accurate quotes or invoices.

Why do we collect this data?

We need this data to serve you effectively. Without contact details, we cannot reach you. Without notes from our conversations, we might forget important details. Formal data, such as KvK numbers, is required for proper accounting.

How long do we store your data?

For as long as necessary to manage our client relationship with you. If you wish for us to delete certain or all data about you, see the section 'Your rights' below.

Sharing data

  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • We only share data if legally required.

Your rights

By law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. In line with our transparent and responsible approach, we will always fully cooperate. For questions or requests, please contact us at info@glazenuil.nl.

Security

Protecting your data is of great importance to us. Next to that, we also prioritize digital sovereignty. We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, and unwanted disclosure of your data. Our systems are well-secured and fully European*. If you suspect any security flaws, please let us know at info@glazenuil.nl.

Changes

This privacy statement may be updated. Changes will be published on this page. To stay informed, please check this page regularly for updates.

* One possible exception to this is our use of Fibery, a European software company that utilizes European servers by AWS. Since AWS is an American cloud provider, we have engaged in discussions with Fibery; they are considering migrating to a fully European alternative, and we are closely monitoring this development.
